What I'm Reading Now

Off the backburner and into the reading queue this one goes. I've always wanted to read a good history of the 37th NCT, owing to the fact I've some ancestors in the regiment. Hopefully The Thirty-Seventh North Carolina Troops tells the whole story.

Great reviews on this book. Wow! that's a steep asking price. I hope you get a War & Peace size volume for that much $$, but if my relatives served in that regiment I'd pay the price to have their record of history.

Actually, the book is average-sized, but the price comes in with the fact that it's limited run. I'm actually reading the "company copy" of the book that's passed around to all our group members. Good thing that it's a hard-bound book!

I'm reading through The Civil War - A Narrative by Shelby Foote and I'm on Vol. III.
